What this organisation does
QVSR Immingham Seafarers Centre provides welfare support, hospitality and practical services for seafarers visiting the Humber ports. The centre offers a welcoming place where seafarers can relax, stay connected with family and friends, access onboard essentials and receive pastoral support while away from home.
QVSR has a long history of supporting seafarers in UK ports through welfare services, chaplaincy and practical assistance. Chaplains and welfare staff provide support both in the seafarers' centre and aboard ships.
The Immingham centre welcomes approximately 10,000 seafarers each year from vessels calling at Humber ports.
Who can use the service
The centre is intended for:
- Active seafarers visiting the Port of Immingham and other Humber ports.
- Crew members seeking welfare, recreational, communication or pastoral support while in port.
- Seafarers of all nationalities and backgrounds.

Opening hours
The seafarers' centre is open:
- Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 22:00 GMT.
