What this organisation does
The Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association (RFAA) Welfare Fund provides welfare support to members of the RFAA community who are experiencing need, hardship or distress. The fund exists to support serving and former Royal Fleet Auxiliary personnel, as well as eligible dependants, through financial assistance, practical support and welfare guidance.
The welfare team works directly with individuals, families, colleagues and other contacts to understand their circumstances and help them access appropriate assistance.
Who can use the service
The RFAA Welfare Fund may be able to support:
- Members of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary Association.
- Serving members of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA).
- Former serving members of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary.
- Dependants of serving or former serving RFA personnel who are experiencing need, hardship or distress.

The Welfare Officers are available to listen to requests for assistance from:
- Individuals seeking help.
- Family members.
- Friends or colleagues who are concerned about someone’s welfare.
