Summary: The object of the Society is to feed, clothe, educate or otherwise provide for necessitous orphans of seafarers children throughout Scotland. This is provided by monthly grants to the parent or guardian where he or she is able to maintain the home, under the supervision of an honorary representative, who takes a personal interest in the family.
