What this organisation does
Veterans Aid is a UK charity that supports former members of the UK Armed Forces who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or facing a personal crisis.
Established in 1932, the charity provides immediate practical support alongside longer-term assistance to help veterans rebuild their lives. Although based in London, Veterans Aid supports veterans across the UK and has helped former service personnel living overseas.
For seafarers, fishers and family members who have served in the Armed Forces, Veterans Aid may be able to provide support when facing housing problems, financial hardship, wellbeing challenges or other life crises.
