Summary: The Royal Liverpool Seamen's Orphan Institution provides financial support to the sons and daughters of deceased merchant seafarers and fishermen. The charity also consider applications from the seafarers or fishermen themselves, if they have had to give up the sea to look after the family in the event of their wife or partner's death.
Note/Restrictions: Applicants should be British and resident in the UK; children should be in pre-school or full time education. The criteria for help is that a father or mother has died. Also known as the RLSOI.
