Summary: The purpose of the Hull Trinity House Charities is to provide pensions for retired seafarers and their dependants. Seafarers who are unable to work due to illness are also able to seek financial assistance but must provide medical evidence of their disability.
Note/Restrictions: To receive the pension there is a requirement to prove a minimum period of five years service at sea. Accommodation in the form of self contained flats, with a Community Centre, is available to anyone in need over the age of 60 years. A maritime background is not required to qualify for accommodation.
