 Summary: UKSA is a youth education and maritime training charity dedicated to personal growth through water-based activities. As a globally recognised professional training establishment, UKSA turns leisure pursuits into careers and trains its students to the highest level. Through a number of bespoke programmes we tackle issues that challenge society - including, social disadvantage and educational disengagement - by developing personal and social confidence, and by providing non-standard educational pathways, training and access to work. Our inclusive and inspirational approach empowers people to help themselves. We work with those who are restricted by emotional, physical, educational or financial disadvantage to achieve their potential. It is our charitable status that enables us to deliver so much more than training and certification alone. Fundraising, donations and the generosity of our partners and volunteers help us close the gap between an acceptable and an exceptional environment for marine based activities and education.
